г. Madshus-Sprint Yesterday in the Norwegian place Biri, which is located not far away from Lillehammer, a relay organised by the Madshus company was held. Three Russian teams participated in the event: Olga Zaitseva – Ivan Tcherezov, Natalia Guseva – Maxim Tchoudov and Olga Anisimova – Dmitri Iarochenko. Also Andrei Makoveev took part as a part of an international team together with a young Norwegian biathlete. The competition itself consisted of two parts: two semi-finals (five laps with two shooting sessions (prone-standing stance) for every team member and the final lap, every sportsmen had three spare rounds in case he misses if even this wasn’t enough the biathlete had to ran a penalty loop of 40 meters) and then final, for which only 5 best teams were qualified according to the semi-final results. In the first semi-final two Russian pairs started: Anisimova – Iarochenko and Guseva – Tchoudov. The first of these pairs won the semi-final while Guseva – Tchoudov ranked only 6th. In the second semi-final Zaitseva – Tcherezov were the winners. Andrei Makoveev’s team finished 8th. The final was a bit longer. Every participant had to go through four shooting sessions (prone-standing stance- prone-standing stance and the final lap). From the early beginning the main battle was between two Russian pairs. Through all the race Olga Anisimova – Dmitri Iarochenko were leading and only for the last shooting session Olga Zaitseva came almost together with Olga Anisimova and Ivan Tcherezov used one spare round less than Dmitri Iarochenko. As a result Olga Zaitseva – Ivan Tcherezov are the winners. Olga Anisimova – Dmitri Iarochenko silver medalists.
